Ericsson has announced that it will provide Manitoba-based MTS Allstream a network solution to overlay its existing CDMA mobile network with HSPA+ technology. HSPA+ boosts network capacity and enables data rates of up to 21 Mbps. This will increase data speeds across MTS Allstream's entire CDMA network.

Nokia Corp. is recalling its AC-3E, AC-3U or AC-4U phone chargers due to a possible electric shock hazard. The AC-3E and AC-3U were made between June 15, 2009 and August 9, 2009 and the AC-4U between April 13, 2009 and October 25, 2009.
