Montreal-based wireless application developer LIPSO and Hub Télécom of Paris, France have reached an agreement to offer each others products and services to their respective customers. Hub telecom offers RFID and geotracking solutions to the transportation and logistics sectors. LIPSO has developed a barcode solution for mobile phones which allows people to check with a barcode on their handset.

"LIPSO's products will allow us to create high value-added solutions for current and future customers and to respond to our customer's needs in innovative ways", says M. Jean Verdier, president and CEO of Hub télécom. 

As a result of this agreement, LIPSO will be able to extend and strengthen its international mobile data network by integrating short-range wireless connectivity into its technology products, according to Sophie Hennion, CEO of LIPSO. "This agreement will allow us to support clients implementing our solutions in Europe and in the Middle East as well as further our international development in these markets," she added.
