Minister of Industry Jim Prentice announced this week that he created an advisory committee on the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and named the members of the panel.

The committee will work with Guy Bujold, president of the CSA, to provide the minister with advice on space and the priorities and overall direction of the CSA. "It will examine the CSA's expenditures and the potential for future investments; review its programs against existing and emerging government and science and technology priorities; and assess challenges and recommend new opportunities where Canadian expertise, science and technology can continue to contribute to maximizing social and economic benefits for Canadians," read a statement.
