Nortel names Hackney president of enterprise unit
September 20, 2007 - 7:31am Nortel Networks Corp. has appointed Joel Hackney as president of the company's enterprise solutions division. Hackney, who replaces Steve Slattery, was previously senior VP of global operations and quality. Hackney will take charge of a unit that is showing signs of improving. In the past year, Nortel has built a solid base of enterprise business customers, which has vaulted the company's revenue to $590 million in the second quarter of 2007, a 23% increase over the same quarter last year. Taking over for Hackney in operations is Joe Flanagan who was previously VP of global fulfillment. |
