Rogers Cable Communications Inc. has upgraded its Urdu with the arrival of GEO TV on its Personal TV digital cable service.

The channel is the third Urdu-language service now available through Rogers, after ARY Digital and Indus Vision, and will feature a wide variety of genres including interactive infotainment programming.

The service, which caters to Pakistanis both abroad and at home but is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is on a free preview for Rogers customers until June 8.
