Canada’s largest independent online recruitment firm JobShark Corp. has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Essex UK-headquartered JobServe Ltd., the world’s first online recruitment company. JobServe has been aggressively acquiring competitors in the US and around the world; JobShark will be its first Canadian acquisition. "The new JobShark is now poised to become the ‘go-to’ online recruitment company across Canada," said JobShark CEO Chris Klotz in a press release. As part of the deal, JobShark’s executive team will remain in place. Financial terms of the deal were not made public.
