Wind Mobile will soon be carrying the Nokia 5230 along with its other smartphones like the HTC Maple and RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9700. This is only the second touchscreen phone for Wind, and may be a harbinger of more devices from the Finnish company in the future.

The Nokia 5230 has a large 3.2-inch touchscreen display, with resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. Other features include microSD expansion, 3.5mm headset jack, 2MP camera, HTML browser, and Bluetooth. There’s no hardware keyboard: QWERTY functionality comes through the virtual keyboard.

Pricing was not announced by Wind, but they do say that the Nokia 5230 will be coming to Wind “in the next few weeks.” In the same announcement, Wind says that it won’t be carrying the Nokia N900.
