Ralph Hyatt appointed President and CEO of Toshiba of Canada Limited
March 22, 2010 - 5:04pm Ralph Hyatt will assume the role of President and CEO of Toshiba of Canada Limited (Toshiba Canada) on April 1, 2010. This marks the first time that a Canadian has been appointed to the top position of the Canadian subsidiary of the Toshiba Corporation. Mr. Hyatt will oversee all of Toshiba Canada’s corporate operations and product businesses including Digital Products, Medical Systems and Office Products. He will work closely as part of an international management team through the Toshiba Corporation headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Hyatt is a technology industry veteran with more than 25 years experience. He joined Toshiba in 2002 as the General Manager of the company’s Information Systems Group. In 2009, he became the V.P. and General Manager of Digital Products business that streamlined the operational, sales and marketing of the company’s computer and consumer products business units. Before joining Toshiba, Mr. Hyatt worked in sales and marketing at IBM Canada and spent 10 years in executive management at Compaq Canada. |
