Fujitsu selects Sierra Wireless for notebook connectivity
February 16, 2010 - 2:35pm Sierra Wireless and Fujitsu have announced that Fujitsu selected Sierra Wireless to provide 3G mobile broadband for several new models in its LIFEBOOK series notebooks.
The tablet PCs LIFEBOOK T900, T4410, T4310, and the notebooks LIFEBOOK P770, S760, E780, S710, AH550 and P3110 utilize Qualcomm's Gobi Global Mobile Internet technology, provided by Sierra Wireless. In addition to the module and a Gobi support user interface, Sierra Wireless provided professional services to Fujitsu, including integration, testing and certification support. Fujitsu LIFEBOOK customers can access the Internet from wherever they are to connect with friends and colleagues on the go by simply subscribing to a wireless data service plan. With embedded mobile broadband capability, they no longer need to find WiFi access to get connected. |
