At the end of December Active Control Technologies, a Burlington, ON-headquartered mining services company specializing in wireless productivity and safety systems,  announced that Richard Hazell had resigned from its board of directors. Now it has lost Peiwei Ni, who was supposed to be central to the company’s efforts at commercialization in China.
